Tooth Roller Cutters

Tooth roller cutters are mainly used to drill medium hard and abrasive formations. We manufacture 8" and 12" tooth roller cutters.

• Cutter teeth are made of steel-carbide alloy, whose hardness reaches HRC 60-64, and welded on the cutter cone piece by piece. The teeth are highly wear resistant and robust, and their lifetime is 3-4 times as hard-faced teeth. Cutter cones are forged with alloy steel and have high strength and rigidity to prevent them from deforming and fracturing.
• Combined axial-radial roller bearings help improve the cutter operating loads, allowing a thrust force of up to 80kN for 8” tooth cutters and 140kN for 12” tooth cutters.
• The pressure compensation device will be added to the cutter shaft in cases of high pressure.
• Maximum drilling efficiency is achieved by optimizing cutter profile and teeth layout.
• 8" tooth cutters are used to drill the holes from 800mm to 1400mm in diameter, while 12" tooth cutters are used to drill the holes larger than 1400mm in diameter.
